We had a great trip to Baton Rouge this weekend! We were so happy to meet our newest nephew, Jaxson Lee Henrichs, and get lots of snuggles in with him. Payton couldn't wait to get to BR and meet her new cousin. She amazed me with how gentle she was with him. She loved giving him oh-so-sweet kisses and looking at him but when she was done holding, she was D.O.N.E. and passing him off quickly :)
Jaxson looks a lot like his mama with his daddy's eyes. Aunt Jaimee and I had the fun pleasure of bombarding him with flashes and photos..... all weekend! We took turns baby hogging and got lots of love on our little nephew. It's sad how fast they grow and how much you forget about newborns....their sweet smell, their cute, wrinkly baby feet, their tiny little finger nails, their little cat noises, their little clothes and their precious cuddles.
We hope to see him again very soon! Payton, Jaxson & Payne together...what fun our future has in store!

Oh my goodness, how sweet! I bet Payton has no idea how much baby time she is about to have! Enjoy her wanting to hold one now, that won't last long!
