Last Friday, Payton and I went to Moody Gardens in Galveston to see Brandon and our family at GSG's annual TSA Show (Texas Sign Association). On Friday, we swam all afternoon then went to a 'Meet & Greet' with our vendors and customers. After Payton ran around the convention center and ate all the cherries the bar had, we went to dinner at Fish Tails with Aunt Jaimee, Uncle Jared & Sam, one of our vendors. Payton was so tired by the time our food got there that she fell asleep in my lap (if you have a toddler, you know this RARELY happens!).
On Saturday morning, we went to the bounce house at Moody Gardens and met up with our friends Allison & Alexa and Lisa, Stella & Ben. Allison was pregnant the same time I was (and due 2 weeks after me but Alexa Claire came a month early :) )and we hadn't seen each other since we had the girls so it was fun to catch up and see the girls play. After a morning of swimming like fish, we went to the Aquarium. I switched from our pool bag to my regular handbag and left my camera in the pool bag so we didn't get any pictures of the great aquarium :( Payton had so much fun seeing all the sea creatures. She was a little freaked out by the sharks and shark cage but quickly got over it once we got to the gift shop and she got her very own Mr. Bright Eyes Penguin!
We didn't make it to the beach or Shlitterbahn on this trip but hope to go back sometime this summer :) We had a great time and can't wait for next year's TSA show in San Antonio!
