Good friends & baseball!

Payton met one of my good girlfriends from college, Natalie, this week. Natalie and I met in the dorms at OU and have been great friends since. We spent many of nights at OU, being wild and being good, and have made long lasting memories together.

Natalie's husband, Johnny, is the head baseball coach at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches. They were playing a game in Houston vs. Houston Baptist University and she emailed me asking if we wanted to meet up. I was more than thrilled that we had the chance to see her!!

Payton was very excited about meeting mommy's friend from college. She kept thinking we were going to see her friend Natalie but I had to explain to her that this Natalie is mommy's friend and we're old.... together, ha! She said "Ok, mommy. She's not little like me and Natalie, she's big like you?!" Yes!

We met up with Nat at the game and had a GREAT time hanging out and catching up. Payton was a little shy at first but then she opened up her crazy side for Natalie to see :) She laid on the bleechers, laid on the ground, went up and down the bleechers, cleaned the bleechers with wet wipes, cheered on the Lumberjacks, fed the birds with her snacks and spilled more water than she drank trying to pour the water into a bottled water lid! She was definitely showing off for Natalie!

The Lumberjacks won the game, 7-4, yay! We're so glad we got to catch up with Natalie and that she got to see our crazy P! We didn't get a chance to see Johnny after the game :( We'll see them SOONER than later so we'll get to see him one day soon! Miss y'all!
