On Sunday, Aunt Susanne and cousins Adelie & Reid came to Houston to visit us. They were here when Payne was born but left shortly after so they wanted to come back when no one was here so they could spoil him with love, hugs and kisses. Adelie & Reid adored Payne! They both wanted to hold him as much as they could and were such big helpers!!
Yesterday, we ran some errands and spent the majority of the afternoon at Chick-fil-A and in the car. The kids played in the playland and ate lots of ice-dream cones! Once it cooled off outside, we took the kids to the splash pad for fun without having to drench them in sunscreen and burning up! It was nice out and the kids had a blast! After getting home, Brandon and Susanne took Payton and Adelie out to shoot some fireworks while Reid, Payne and I enjoyed them from indoors :) After a much needed bath, the kids hit the hay and slept like little angels.
We had a great visit with Sus and the kids! We miss y'all lots and we'll see you next week when we travel north!
