Reid-A turns 3!!

Our sweet nephew, Reid Thomas, turned 3 today! It seems like just yesterday Payton, 7 months old, and I were rushing out the door to head to Allen to make it in time for his arrival! And boy did we barely make it in time!! We got there and 20 minutes later, he was here!! He was as perfect that day as he is today.

Reid had a water birthday party in Celina this past weekend. Payton, Payne and I headed up to North Texas for the fun and festivities! Brandon stayed here in Houston to paint but I think he got painting confused with his favorite past time, golf (:  We missed daddy but we had a great time with my family. The kids played outside all afternoon and evening. They played in the water, on the swings, in the playhouse and of course, they pulled out every toy that Adelie and Reid own so after most of the people left the party, my sisters and I cleaned up the aftermath of many small children! 

Reid must have a future in construction b/c 95% of his gifts were Caterpillar tractors, doziers, and any other form of tractor or construction vehicle that Caterpillar makes. He got a big boy Tonka bike from his mommy and daddy (Aunt Susanne and Uncle Monty) along with all the Tonka gear to protect him from all the falls I'm sure he'll have (: He had so much fun opening his gifts and playing with all of them.

Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet nephew! We love you Reid-A (name given to Reid by Payton that most of my family now calls him! Pronounced: Rita!)! You are the sweetest, funniest, most loving boy and we are so proud of you! Muah!!
