On Saturday, we took Payton and Payne to Payton's school for their annual pumpkin patch and fall market. It was nice and cool outside which made it really feel like fall! Payton was so excited to pick out a pumpkin. She found the perfect pumpkin for the annual "Payton and Daddy carving night". She also picked out 2 smaller pumpkins that are now somewhere in our house covered in marker with stickers all over them :)
Payton had a great time playing on the tractor, playing with the dogs {which were up for adoption and had I not been there, we would probably have 2 {make that all of them....about 8!} more dogs running around our house...like father, like daughter! I could not get them away from those sweet pups but who needs more dogs?!! Not this family!! Rudy and Emmit will be just fine with just the 2 of them....no matter what our big hearted, dog loving daddy says!} and jumping in the middle of the pumpkins and posing. Payne slept for about 99% of the time so I can say that he enjoyed it as well :) Payton didn't quite understand why all her school friends weren't there since we were at her school but then she became preoccupied with everything on going and stopped asking :). She had a great time and loved the pumpkin patch...and we love our 2 little pumpkins!
{The wind was blowing her hair and made it look
all c-r-a-z-y and such!}
