1, 2, 3, 4....5!!!!!

Payton Faith is 5 years old today! She is one sweet girl that made us a family 5 short years ago. When people say "they grow up right before your eyes", it's true! I never would have imagined that 5 years would have flown by like it has.

Payton is a fun, energetic, spontaneous, stubborn, funny, bashful, chatty, witty little girl! She never ceases to amaze us with her thoughtfulness and care for others. She has a compassion for people and a heart of gold. She adores her friends and is everyone's friend. She is bright and bubbly almost every day. I really don't think I can say she's ever had just a bad, awful day. There is always something that brings sunshine into her eyes.

She is a lover of God and a believer in Jesus. She has a memory that keeps me wondering "how does she remember that?" She is a late sleeper and a night owl.  She is a home body extraordinaire! She's a creature of habit and thrives off a schedule.

She is theatrical and animated. She loves to dance and put on shows. She changes clothes at least 2-3x/day and sometimes more! She thinks her little brother is a sack of potatoes and the cutest little bug she's ever seen.

The moment she entered our lives, at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday, January 26th, 2006, our hearts were hers. Since that day, she's made us laugh, made us cry, brought too many smiles and funny moments to count and she has made us proud to be her mommy and daddy. She lights up our lives and melts our hearts with her bouncing curls and Payton laugh.  Happy 5th Birthday to our P1, Payton Faith, Sweetness, Dirt, Pay-Pay, Walter and any other name that her sweet daddy has given her :)
