Pray, Pray, Pray for Walker Jack

Please pray without ceasing for baby Walker, Missy, Chad and the entire Rainey & Barnes family's tonight and in all the coming days for sweet little Walker and the journey they are about to embark upon. Tears roll down my face and my heart aches for their sweet, innocent, tough little boy, Walker Jack.

Our Dear Friends and Family,

We did not get the news we were hoping for today.  We, in fact, got just the opposite.  Walker has a rhabdoid tumor, which is the most aggressive form of malignant tumors in children. 

It is clearer than ever than our little boy's life is part of an agenda far higher than our understanding.  We knew from the minute the doctor laid him in our arms on Feb. 16, 2009 that he was an extra special angel.  We got confirmation today.  God does not call us to understand His plan.  However, He does call us to have faith in His plan. So Chad and I stand, with our hearts broken, but our faith strong.

Thank you all for your prayers.  Thank you for kind words. Thank you for making Walker part of your lives.  Please don’t stop.  Next week, we will learn about our treatment options and have some hard decisions on our hands.  We know one thing FOR SURE…..we are committed to loving Walker, until God decides he has earned his Angel’s Wings.
